Christophe Kutner was born in Narbonne, South of France and moved to Paris when he was 4 years old. He was a medical student before he met legendary photographer Horst P. Horst, and worked as his assistant for four years. Since going solo in 1993, Christophe has contributed to some of the most well-known fashion magazines in the world, and created memorable images for numerous advertising campaigns.

He has also expanded his interest from photography to cinema. In 2000, he wrote and directed his first short film “Another Gold Fish to Drown” starring Michele Hicks and Donovan Leitch. In 2008 he directed a short film, “Wake Up” for an exhibition that featured 10 new directors during the Cannes Film Festival.

Christophe currently lives between Paris and New York.
